Please complete the form below to register the warranty for your
product. The warranty period lasts for one year from date of purchase.
It’s important to register your product so that we can contact you with any important safety updates if necessary.

Please note that Zinc do not offer any warranty on products
purchased 2nd hand, from eBay, Facebook selling sites or the equivalent,
or from auctions.
If you are registering a hoverboard, you will need the SGS
serial number to complete the form. Please see diagram below for
guidance.
ELECTRIC SCOOTER AND HOVERBOARD WARRANTY POLICY
Thank you for purchasing a Zinc product and we hope you enjoy using it. Please ensure that you read the following warranty.
In order for your warranty to be valid you must satisfy the following conditions.
All products must be registered at zincsports.com within 30 days of receiving the product for the warranty to be valid.
Proof of purchase is also required for your warranty to be valid.
You must be the original purchaser who bought the product from an authorised dealer, your warranty cannot be transferred.
You must report any defects to Zinc Sports within 30 days of discovery of said defect else the warranty will not be valid.
The warranty will not be valid where the user is outside the recommended age group (only where specified)
Failure to follow the conditions highlighted above means that your warranty will be void. We recommend that you save your original sales receipt. Assuming that you have followed the conditions highlighted above, your product will have a 12-month limited warranty from defects in the materials used to manufacture, and/or workmanship at the time of manufacture outside areas covered below.

The warranty does not cover wear and tear, or parts deemed as wearing parts such as but not limited to plastic covers, handlebar grips, tyres, inner-tubes, cables, grip tape, bearings, buttons, control paddle, kickstand, brakes or rubber seals. This warranty does not cover and Zinc Sports is not liable for any repairs which include but are not limited to tyre punctures, disc brakes, lights or cable damage. The warranty does not cover cosmetic parts, or parts deemed as cosmetic parts such as but not limited to paint, stickers and labels. Spare parts may be available for purchase from Zinc Sports if you are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty will be void in instances such as but not limited to damage caused by accident, misuse, improper storage, neglect, theft, excessive load and commercial use of the scooter.
All electric scooters and hoverboards have an IP rating of IPX4. The warranty will be void if the scooter/hoverboard has any water ingress or damage as a result of water ingress. The warranty may be void if the scooter/hoverboard has been used in the rain, through deep puddles, jet washing and submersion. No warranty is provided for corrosion damages as a result of contact with water/humidity conditions. All electric scooters and hoverboards include Liquid Contact Indicators on the battery pack. The Liquid Contact Indicators show if the device has come into contact with water or a liquid containing water, the Liquid Contact Indicators turn red when they come into contact with water or a liquid containing water. The warranty is void if the Liquid Contact Indicators are red.
Please note that we only provide warranty service if your scooter/hoverboard develops a fault through normal use unless stipulated in this warranty. The warranty is void if the scooter/hoverboard has been altered in any way and/or been serviced or modified by anyone other than Zinc Sports. The warranty does not cover second-hand products obtained via 3rd party sellers, such as but not limited to e-commerce platforms, only from our trusted and authorised sellers.
At Zinc Sports discretion, we may decide make repairs outside of the warranty period. If this is the case, such work will not be deemed an admission of liability and we will charge for labour, inbound and outbound transport costs. We will provide a quote for these costs.
NON-ELECTRIC SCOOTER WARRANTY POLICY
Thank you for purchasing a Zinc Scooter and we hope that you enjoy using it. Please ensure that you read the following warranty.
In order for your warranty to be valid you must satisfy the following conditions.
All products must be registered at zincsports.com within 30 days of receiving the product for the warranty to be valid.

The warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials or
workmanship when used under normal use conditions and in compliance with
the stipulations in the instruction manual and warranty guidelines.
Please note that the scooter should be maintained in accordance
with the instruction manual. Zinc Sports reserve the right to decide if
the conditions stipulated above and in the instruction manual have been
met.
Zinc Sports requests that you provide photos to us along with
your claim. Following a customer’s request, assuming that the conditions
listed above have been met, Zinc sports will send out necessary
part(s)/repair/replace/refund the scooter. The decision to send out
necessary part(s)/repair/replace/refund the scooter is placed at the
discretion of Zinc Sports only.
The warranty does not cover wear, and tear or parts deemed to
be wearing parts such as but not limited to bearings, brakes, wheels,
grip tape or folding mechanisms. The warranty does not cover cosmetic
parts, or parts deemed as cosmetic parts such as but not limited to
paint, stickers and labels. The warranty does not cover loss of parts.
Spare parts may be available for purchase from Zinc Sports if you are
not covered by the warranty.
The warranty will be void in instances such as but not limited
to damage caused by accident, misuse, improper storage, neglect, theft,
excessive load, failure to follow the care instructions in the
instruction manual and commercial use of the scooter. The warranty will
also be voided if the damage or issue has occurred as a result of water
damage or rust.
The warranty is void if the scooter has been altered in any way
and/or been serviced or modified by anyone other than Zinc Sports. The
warranty does not cover second-hand products obtained via 3rd party
sellers, such as but not limited to e-commerce platforms, only from our
trusted and authorised sellers.
Under no circumstance will Zinc Sports be obliged to provide
compensation for bodily injuries, death, property damages, losses,
hinderance of profits, prevention of use or any other damage that will
be caused directly or indirectly as a result of usage of this device.
Zinc Sports advise that you contact your insurance company to determine
whether coverage is provided for the use of this scooter, or to take out
a new policy.
Once you have followed the warranty procedure and the Zinc
Sports technical team has reviewed your case and decided that you are to
send the product back to Zinc Sports, we request that you take photos
and videos of your scooter at all angles in the event the scooter is
damaged by the courier or the unlikely event that the scooter is damaged
at Zinc Sports HQ. If you do not provide these photos, Zinc Sports or
the courier cannot be held liable for any damage to the product. Please
ensure that when you return items back to Zinc Sports (assuming you have
followed the warranty procedure) that you pack the product in a secure
box, ideally the original packaging. If the product is not in a secure
box, it cannot be sent back. This will be inspected by a 3rd party
courier.
At Zinc Sports discretion, we may decide make repairs outside

deemed an admission of liability and we will charge for labour, inbound
and outbound transport costs. We will provide a quote for these costs.
Please be aware that Zinc Sports does hold the right to change
the terms of the warranty. In the event that this does happen, it will
be put onto our website so you can easily access and review it.
